Epoxy Primer Grey a transparent two‑component epoxy‑type sealerprimer used as an isolating undercoat on problematic or dark, stained woods rather than specifically as a pigmented grey primer. Epoxy Isonate offers good penetration and blocking properties, very good wetting, and acts as a barrier when humidity, salts or tannins could affect adhesion or cause staining, giving a more stable base for subsequent PU, NC or Melamine systems.

The product is clear (not grey), with specific gravity about 0.94 kg/l, blended solids around 31% and dust‑free time of roughly 15 minutes, touch‑dry in about 40 minutes and recoatable after 3–4 hours at 25°C. It provides general‑purpose plasticity, good sandability and adhesion, and is recommended particularly on porous or salt‑affected substrates and on knots where extra isolation is required.
