NC Clear Sealer refers to Jewell NC Wood Clear Sealer, a nitrocellulose‑based, non‑yellowing single‑pack clear undercoat that seals and fills pores on interior wood. It offers high build with excellent grain filling, durability and adhesion, creating a strong base for NC Clear Gloss, NC Clear Matt, NC Pigmented or wood polish finishes.

The product is easy to apply and sand, dries quickly (touch‑dry in about 10–15 minutes, hard dry in 1–2 hours) and provides typical coverage of 8–10 sqm per coat depending on substrate condition. With solids around 40% and recommended thinner intake of 70–75% of supply paint, it gives a smooth, clear sealer coat that resists moisture ingress and helps prevent finish sinking or patchy absorption.
