PU Clear Semi Matt in Jewell’s range aligns closest with Melamine Clear Semi Matt, a two-pack clear wood finish that offers an elegant, soft-sheen appearance while still showcasing the natural grain. This melamine-based coating provides long-lasting beauty with excellent resistance to stains, scratches, heat and household chemicals, making it ideal for premium interior furniture and panelling in high-use areas.

Compared with full gloss, the semi-matt finish helps diffuse reflections and hide minor surface imperfections, yet retains depth and warmth on wardrobes, doors, tables and decorative woodwork. The system is designed to last roughly twice as long as conventional alkyd varnishes, outperforming local polishes in durability and colour stability. Mixed at 9 parts base to 1 part catalyst and reduced with Jewell Premium Grade Thinner, it delivers good build and coverage per coat while maintaining non-yellowing clarity over time.
