PU Clear Matt in the Jewell portfolio is best reflected by Melamine Clear Matt, a two-pack clear wood finish that delivers an elegant, low-sheen matt look while still highlighting natural grain detail. This premium melamine system forms a tough, non-yellowing film with excellent resistance to stains, scratches, heat and common household solvents, significantly extending the life of interior wood surfaces.

Ideal for wardrobes, doors, paneling, furniture and decor where glare-free sophistication is desired, it behaves like a durable shield against daily wear and tear yet feels soft and refined to the touch. The coating lasts roughly twice as long as regular alkyd varnish and far longer than local French polish, maintaining clarity and colour stability over time. Supplied as a 2-pack (base and hardener), it is mixed in a 9:1 ratio, thinned with Jewell Premium Grade Melamine Thinner and offers good coverage with around 30–35 microns dry film per coat on properly prepared wood.
