Red Oxide Metal Primer is a solvent‑thinnable, anti‑corrosive primer for ferrous metal surfaces, designed to provide strong adhesion and long‑term protection to the entire paint system. It forms a tough, matt undercoat that seals the metal, reduces absorption of the topcoat and ensures uniform, high‑opacity deposition of enamels.

The primer contains anti‑settling and anti‑corrosive pigments, offers excellent flow and levelling, and resists chalking so the finish stays sound for longer. It can be brushed or sprayed, thinned with mineral turpentine oil, gives about 150–170 sq.ft/litre per coat on well‑prepared metal, and is packed in 20 L, 10 L, 4 L, 1 L, 500 ml and 200 ml sizes for both project and maintenance use.
