Jewell Interior Primer is a water-thinnable acrylic wall primer designed to penetrate and seal porous interior masonry, plaster and putty surfaces, creating a sound, uniform base for topcoats. Its copolymer-emulsion formula provides good opacity and binding, reducing surface absorbency so emulsions spread better, cover more and appear richer and more even in shade.

Fortified with fungicides, the primer offers resistance to wall alkalinity, moisture and fungus, helping prevent early paint failure such as flaking and patchy absorption on new plaster. It is low VOC, solvent-free and quick-drying, making it safer and faster to work with in enclosed interiors. Applied by brush or roller after proper surface preparation, it delivers coverage of about 180–240 sq.ft per litre per coat on well-prepared surfaces, with a recoat interval of 2–4 hours. Interior Primer is recommended under all Jewell interior emulsions to enhance finish, durability and overall value.
