NC Thinner refers to Jewell NC Thinner Premium Grade, a high‑quality diluent formulated from a balanced blend of esters, glycol, aromatic solvents and ketones for all nitrocellulose products. It is used to reduce NC sealers, primers and clear or pigmented topcoats (including some melamine systems) to the correct spraying or brushing viscosity, improving flow, leveling and atomisation for smooth, defect‑free films.

The thinner is clear, crystal‑transparent, non‑staining and has a mild aromatic odour, with a specific gravity of about 0.87 kg/l and a flash point of 11°C. It also works excellently for cleaning pure bristle brushes, spray guns and other application equipment, and is additionally recommended for cleaning contact cements and overspray in professional workshops.
