Melamine Thinner is a dedicated dilutant for Jewell melamine coatings, formulated from a balanced blend of esters, glycol, aromatic solvents and ketones to ensure optimum flow and leveling of the topcoat. It is used to reduce melamine sealers and clear or pigmented melamine topcoats to the right viscosity for spray or brush application, helping achieve smooth, defect‑free finishes without loss of clarity or durability.

The thinner is clear, crystal‑transparent and non‑staining, so it preserves the natural tone of wood and color integrity of pigmented systems. With a mild aromatic odour, specific gravity of about 0.87 kg/l and a flash point of 11°C, it is suitable for professional workshop use when proper ventilation and safety practices are followed. Melamine Thinner also works very well for cleaning pure bristle brushes, spray guns and application tools immediately after use, extending equipment life and maintaining consistent application quality.
