NC Primer Surfacer Grey is a fast‑drying nitrocellulose‑based primer surfacer formulated with alkyd resin and high‑quality grey pigments to level and prepare interior wood and metal substrates. The matt coating offers good hiding power, excellent adhesion on plywood, MDF, solid wood and fabricated metal, and very good grain filling that helps mask surface imperfections.

It is easy to apply and sand, dries dust‑free in about 15 minutes and touch‑dry in roughly 60 minutes, with recoating possible after around 3 hours depending on temperature and humidity. With weight solids of about 47% (blended approx. 42%), NC Primer Surfacer Grey builds a smooth, uniform grey base that improves coverage, colour uniformity and durability of NC Pigmented, NC Metallic and other compatible topcoats on furniture, doors, fixtures and paneling.
